In conjunction with the Selangor Buddhist Development Council’s National Raise The Buddhist Flag Campaign, this morning at Liulishan Buddhist Temple in Tanjung Sepat, Chief Reverend Ven Datuk Dr K Sri Dhammaratana alongside Bro Loka Ng (Selangor Buddhist Development Council) and YB Anthony Loke (Minister of Transport, Malaysia) presented the Buddhist Flag to Ti-Ratana Buddhist Society. In lieu of all the parentbody committee members who were unable to make it, Bro Rain from the Ti-Ratana Youth Buddhist Section (@tiratanayouth) collected the Buddhist flag.

- The main shrine hall is completed.
- Upper floor is completed.
- Premises are used by Ti-Ratana, Phat Quang Buddhist Vietnamese Group, and Amitabha Buddhist Society Malaysia.
- Temple is open, please call before visiting to make sure the gate is open.
- Hiking path completed.
- Lighting completed.

- The main structure of the Bodhi Tree Shrine is complete, with lighting to be installed in the coming week (when Bodhi Puja was conducted here on the 28th of November 2021, portable spotlights were used for lighting)
- The main entrance itself is complete, with lighting to be installed in the coming week
- We're installing new windows to replace the old and rusty louvre windows that don't let much light in
- At the same time, we'll have to repaint the areas surrounding the newly installed windows
- We've painted most of the major exterior features
- We've decided that we need air conditioning - although it gets chilly at night, indoor areas can get warm in the day, even though the breeze cools the outdoor areas
- LED street lights have been installed around the premises with more to be installed
- The whole premises will utilize LED lights and be completely free from incandescent lamps and CFLs, apart from the public sodium vapour streetlamps from TNB, which we hope that they'll upgrade to LEDs soon too
- Smart lighting may be implemented on our premises
- Plans might be underway to utilize renewable energy for our premises, we'll share updates on this in the future
- The toilets are usable and doors will be installed soon
- The kitchen is almost completed
- The Staff quarters and Sangha quarters are undergoing renovation
- Guest rooms and solo meditation rooms will be constructed soon, some of them will be made out of old shipping containers - and the end product will be like those Instaworthy container homes

- The main structure of the Bodhi Tree Shrine is complete, with lighting to be installed in the coming week (when Bodhi Puja was conducted here on the 28th of November 2021, portable spotlights were used for lighting)
- The main entrance itself is complete, with lighting to be installed in the coming week
- We're installing new windows to replace the old and rusty louvre windows that don't let much light in
- At the same time, we'll have to repaint the areas surrounding the newly installed windows
- We've painted most of the major exterior features
- We've decided that we need air conditioning - although it gets chilly at night, indoor areas can get warm in the day, even though the breeze cools the outdoor areas
- LED street lights have been installed around the premises with more to be installed
- The whole premises will utilize LED lights and be completely free from incandescent lamps and CFLs, apart from the public sodium vapour streetlamps from TNB, which we hope that they'll upgrade to LEDs soon too
- Smart lighting may be implemented on our premises
- Plans might be underway to utilize renewable energy for our premises, we'll share updates on this in the future
- The toilets are usable and doors will be installed soon
- The kitchen is almost completed
- The Staff quarters and Sangha quarters are undergoing renovation
- Guest rooms and solo meditation rooms will be constructed soon, some of them will be made out of old shipping containers - and the end product will be like those Instaworthy container homes

Ti-Ratana Heights is an upcoming Buddhist destination by @tiratanaofficial nestled over 500ft above sea level, like a forest in the middle of the city.

We’re still not open to the public, but you can visit our other centres (when the situation permits), or join them for online activities including Ti-Ratana Bangsar, @trlgpuchong , @trvklang, Ti-Ratana Community Centre Penchala and Ti-Ratana Sukha Dhamma School.

This page, for now, until the opening will be used to document this amazing journey of the construction and early days of Ti-Ratana Heights.

When the first phase is completed, our temple will be used for various activities including Dhamma Talks, Meditation Retreats, Youth Camps, Seminars, Buddhist festival celebrations and more.

The cooling breeze and weather (average temperature of about 20 - 25 degrees) of the temple grounds makes the premise a perfect venue to meditate and destress.
